His exhortation will encourage you, his heart for evangelism will draw you, and his style of preaching will sweep you off of your feet!! Bishop Designate DeVone A. Cruesoe is a dynamic and energetic preacher and teacher of the Word of God. He was born September 20, to Mattie Cruesoe and Robert Earl Miller. As a child his family attended Lively Stone Church of God under the leadership of the Honorable Bishop P.L. Scott and his son the Bishop Alphonso Scott. While at Lively Stone Church Pastor Cruesoe served as one of the youngest choir director for the Children’s Choir. It was then God began to use him in a special way.

In December of 1993, DeVone and his family united with Bethesda Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith Inc. under the leadership of the Honorable Bishop James A. Johnson. On August 31, 1994 Pastor Cruesoe received the gift of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Pastor Cruesoe then realized that God had a special call on his life. Cruesoe continued to serve in ministry at Bethesda Temple Church. While attending Bethesda Temple he served in many auxiliaries such as Young People Department, Missionary Department, and Hospitality Committee. He also served as a choir director for the Golden Voices Youth Choir, and the Temple Voices.

On Sunday, August 31, 1999, Pastor DeVone Cruesoe preached his first sermon at Bethesda Temple Church entitled “Are You Ready for Your Season”. He served as a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Ministerial Alliance and also taught youth bible study. In May of 2001 Pastor Cruesoe received an assignment from the Lord to birth Destiny Divine Ministries. Destiny Divine Ministries allowed Pastor Cruesoe to ministry before countless hundreds of people. Within that ministry the “What a Fellowship Conference” was birthed, that convenes every summer. The vision of that conference is to bridge saints from all denominations and cultures for one purpose, to celebrate the kingdom of God. In June 2007 The Lord called Pastor Cruesoe to Pastor in the Lord's church. Cruesoe met with his pastor, Bishop James A. Johnson and shared with him that the Lord had called him to the office of Pastor. Bishop Johnson pronounced his blessing over Pastor Cruesoe and his ministry.

On October 7, 2007 Pastor DeVone launched the Temple of Destiny Church of St. Louis, Missouri, and is currently the Senior Pastor. He was later ordained as and Elder on February 24, 2008. On September 28, 2008 Elder DeVone A. Cruesoe was installed as Pastor of the Temple of Destiny Church. Pastor Cruesoe accepted an assignment in Booneville, Missouri in September of 2011, at the Morgan Street Baptist Church as the Senior Pastor for 3 years. While he was their he was able to increase and stabilize the membership, develop Christian Education Curriculum, and re-establish hope for the people of God. After being unctioned by the Holy Ghost Pastor Cruesoe returned to St. Louis to continue pastoring Temple of Destiny Church.

Currently Pastor DeVone A. Cruesoe serves as Chaplin of the International Department of Evangelism of the Church of God In Christ, Inc. Locally he serves as Administrative Assistant to Bishop Elijah Hankerson, Prelate of the Missouri Midwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, and founding Superintendent of the William J. Seymour District-#4, and President of the Jurisdictional Evangelism Department.

On October 18, 2021 Pastor DeVone A. Cruesoe was elevated to the office of Bishop Designate in the Lord's Church.

In December of 2010 Bishop Designate DeVone A. Cruesoe was united in Holy Matrimony to Ciara Lynnette Reese and they have 3 beautiful children Mya E. Lewis, Camryn Desiree Cruesoe, Chloe Sophia Lee Cruesoe, Pastor DeVone A. Cruesoe is a mouthpiece for End Time ministry, and his earnest desire is to see souls saved and filled with the Holy Ghost! In this season evangelism is his primary goal, and he is strategically developing programs to restore his community!
